Spector made a reputation for herself within the New York Metropolis music scene within the ’60s whereas performing together with her sister, Estelle Bennett, and cousin, Nedra Talley. Initially known as the Darling Sisters, the trio would later turn out to be the Ronettes, well-known for songs together with “Be My Child,” “Child, I Love You,” “Walkin’ within the Rain” and extra, on which Spector sang vocals.
